We made a quick trip to Flagstaff to help Dan"s cousin David and his family move into there apartment. The weather was so nice it was hard to come back to the heat.

For one of Kyla's class projects she was suppose to do something out in the community so she decided she wanted to make cookies and take them to the firefighters and tell them thank you so she made the cookies and we went today after school and to our surprise got a full tour of the fire station the kids got to be up in the truck and everything. We had tons of fun and Kyla got to thank them for all that they do:)

Okay I am going to give this another try! I am so far behind that I don't even know where to start. We now live in Gilbert and we are loving it, Dan is loving his job at fox 10 news, Kyla is in 1st grade and is doing so good we are amazed at how well she can read, Jackson is in kindergarten he is still excited to wake up and go everyday so it must be going good, he is also playing football we have to keep telling ourselves as we watch from the sidelines that it is his first year and he along with all his team mates are just learning, his coach is very patient:) Bryce goes everyday missing his brother and sister while they are at school so he is my little shadow, he is completely potty trained and had absolutely no problems doing it. Porter is now 14 weeks old he is just the funnest little thing ever he like attention and he smiles and laughs non stop all you have to do is look at him, he started off huge at 9'4 and he is staying that way he is tall for his age I don't know where he came from. As for me I am so lucky for what I have I am very thankful for my husband and kids and I am very grateful that I am able to be at home with them everyday!!

I will try and do better! maybe this will make me be better at taking pictures.

Sorry I have not kept up on my blog!!!! I am so far behind on pictures I don't even know where to begin. I will update on what is happening in our lives as of right now and get some pictures up another time. We are super excited about the new detail of our lives.... Dan got a job for Fox 10 in phoenix!! He will be a full time reporter there, he starts that job on March 8Th. The kids and I are gonna hang back here and try to sell this house!! Scary I know! That will also give Kyla the chance to finish school down here. We will hopefully all be able to be together in a home in the Gilbert area the end of May so we can be well prepared for Porter Hollis Spindle to join our family somewhere around the 10Th of June. Anyway if any of you know of any good places up in the Gilbert area or know of anybody wanting to rent or buy in the Pomerene/Benson area let me know!! Today is mine and Dan's seven year anniversary. It has been a wonderful 7 years, we have been thru so much together and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I am so lucky to have him, he is my best friend and he puts up with me and all my wants and needs ( I will even admit it can't be a easy job). He is such a great father, the kids can't wait till daddy comes home from work everyday. I am so grateful for Dan and all that he goes thru just to support us, I want him to know that I am here to support him in anything that he needs! Love you Dan.

This is the most Amazing man I have ever met. Dan and I decided the other day that we would take the video camera out with us to see Grandma and Grandpa, well we set it up and started asking Grandpa some questions, he told us about his life from the day he was born to well after he returned home from the war. Dan and I just sat almost in tears hearing those stories. Dan is now in the process of doing some research and is going to make a video out of it anyone that is interested in one let me know.

So kyla started complaining about her head hurting so I look under her hair and there were a bunch of little blisters. We took her to the doctor and found out that it is poison ivy!! Trust me these pictures look awesome compared to how it looks in person. It has now been a week and a half and it still look bad.

Dan's Birthday was today!! We went out Friday night to dinner and to see Twilight. We had SOO much fun. I am so lucky to have Dan in my life, he is my best friend we have so much fun together and look forward to spending every second we have together. Okay so Dan brought flowers home for me, I was outside when he got home so he gave them to me out there, well when we came inside Kyla ran to greet Daddy and he said "Kyla look what I got for you" she got the biggest grin on her face I think she was even giggling. Okay so my family meets every Sunday for our "Fat Meeting" we write our weight on the board and set goal for the week. We have a goal weight that we want to be at by 11/2/2008, so we have to be encouraged to good each week so we will make that goal. I thought that if I started a blog and posted every ones weight, goal, and a picture of them each week then they might be more likely to loose weight that week. Barney family reunion

Ok so we just had our yearly Barney family reunion! This year we had it at the brand new Barney family sports complex. My uncle Newell built this building in Queen Creek that has a indoor soccer/football field, volleyball court and two basketball courts, and many other things. Anyway it was alot of fun there ended up being over 400 people there. All of our family went up friday and got a hotel and all swam together, the adults took me out for my birthday dinner and then we came back with the kids and had cake at the pool it was alot of fun.

I walked outside to water the grass and this is what I found!!! it was huge! it was just a bullsnake but since we had just killed a rattlesnake on our back porch I was jumpy. My poor visiting teachers and to come right then poor Janell, I didnt think I would be able to get her into my house. Anyway I was going to kill it but decided to let it go on its way.
